  • I am in-network with Aetna, United Healthcare/Optum, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama plans.

    Otherwise, I am a out of network / private pay provider. For more information on fees and insurance, please scroll down the page to the “Fees and Insurance” section.

  • Yes, with some limits. Based on licensing laws, I am a mandated reporter and am obligated to report in certain instances - in the event that the client divulges that they are a danger to themselves or others or in the instance of child or elder abuse. In the case of these events, I would be bound by law to report to the relevant authorities.

  • Based on licensure laws, I can only legally provide therapy for clients in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.

  • At this time, I only provide telehealth services, which is a video-based therapy to clients living throughout Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. All you need is a smartphone or computer with video capability and internet, along with a quiet area for your sessions.

  • We will discuss why you are wanting to start therapy and the origins of the problem. We will also talk about scheduling, insurance, and payment. We will usually set up your first appointment during the call and decide on the frequency of your appointments.

  • During your therapy session, you will have an opportunity to vent, gain perspective and learn new insights, challenge your thoughts, receive feedback, and develop and practice new coping skills.

I am an in-network insurance provider for Aetna and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama plans.

Otherwise, I am an out-of-network/cash pay provider.

    We will meet via telehealth at the appointment time. We will talk about why you are seeking therapy, a brief history of the problem, and logistics like scheduling your appointment.

    I’ll send you intake paperwork to fill out online. This should take around 5-20 minutes and needs to be completed at least 24 hours prior to your first appointment.
